n August 3rd, 1987, Def Leppard released their iconic album “Hysteria.” Produced by Robert John “Mutt” Lange, this album took over three years to complete, overcoming numerous challenges, including drummer Rick Allen’s tragic car accident, which resulted in the loss of his left arm. Remarkably, Allen adapted and continued to play using a specially designed electronic drum kit.
“Hysteria” features some of Def Leppard’s most famous tracks, including “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Animal,” and “Love Bites.” The album’s polished production and catchy hooks propelled it to the top of the charts, selling over 25 million copies worldwide and solidifying Def Leppard’s place in rock history.
